Four ways to pay us
You may pay us for your course, sailing trip or other service supplied through us by making a payment at a branch of LLoyds Bank, by Internet Banking, in some cases by PayPal or by posting a cheque to us.
We suffer from charges for some of these payment methods and have to pass these on to you. The method, by which you incur no charges, is to use Internet Bank transfer or pay in at LLoyds.
Pay-in at Lloyds
In any branch of Lloyds, complete a pay-in slip with the account detail as shown in the next paragraph and take this with your payment to a cashier.
Internet Bank transfer
To make a payment you need our account details:
1ST-WATERSPORT 30-15-97 00349201
We may ask you to send us your bank account details if we have to make any refund to you. When you pay us by Internet Banking, we can usually identify who has paid us, but if the information from your bank is only an account number, we may have to ask you for your account number so we can confirm the transaction.
Payment by Cheque
You may wish to pay us by cheque. Cheques should be payable to "1st Watersport". Regrettably our bank charges us for paying in your cheque. This charge is currently 65 pence per cheque. Please add this amount to the value of each cheque. We will show this on your Invoice.
If you send us a cheque, we will present this to our bank as soon as we can. Cheques may take three working days to clear. For a sailing trip, if we have any uncertainty about the trip going ahead, we may keep your cheque and present it at a later date. If the course or trip was cancelled or postponed, we would destroy your cheque and advise you that we had done this.
For some of our activities or courses we may welcome your payment by PayPal. This allows you to pay with a Credit or Debit card or straight from your PayPal account. Due to charges we regret our fee will be 3.5% more than the price for the Internet Banking transaction.
